Developed with the same attention to quality and oenological pertinence as our wood derivatives, LAFFORT today offers a range of staves for wine maturation.
The key parameters involved in the creation of NOBILE® staves include precise aromatic delivery, aromatic complexity and the elegance of the tannin palate contribution.
The results of this quest for excellence go as far as using a variety of innovative toasting procedures necessary to obtain optimal wood-wine integration.
Thanks to slow progressive toasting, NOBILE® staves provide the wine with distinctive character and aromatic complexity, maintaining the original fruit characters (wood-wine integration) yet imparting aromatic expression comparable with barrel maturation.
